About the Foundation
In 1995, the Moss Foundation for Children’s Education was created by the P. Buckley Moss Society in honor of Pat Moss and her desire to incorporate arts into the classroom. The Foundation strives to assist teachers and school divisions with the promotion and integration of the arts into all other disciplines.
The Foundation is a certified 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization.
Individual and corporate donations are greatly appreciated and go directly to support the Foundation’s mission, goals, and activities.
Mission Statement
The P. Buckley Moss Foundation for Children’s Education aspires to promote the integration of the arts into all educational programs, with a special focus on children who learn in different ways.
Goals of the Foundation
- Provide a forum for sharing innovative methods of art-based education and disseminate these methods nationally and internationally.
- Furnish publications that aid in the integration of arts into the academic curriculum.
- Form collaborative relationships with arts and education-based organizations.
- Recognize teachers who creatively and effectively incorporate arts into their academic classroom programs.
- Develop and conduct art education programs for young children to introduce the arts into their early educational experience.
We are creative people, and we don’t have any boundaries.
